Hello and welcome! Though I was raised in Central Florida, my family calls South Florida home. Interest in computers at an early age led me to study computer engineering at Georgia Tech. While there, my desire to work in the field of computer vision was fostered by the research that we conducted at the Computational Perception Laboratory. Since then, my work has focused on the fields of computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning, and camera registration. I especially enjoy problems that involve understanding the geometric relationship between images and the real world. I lead an incredible group of engineers focused on research and core development at the San Francisco Bay area arm of SMT (previously known as Sportvision). We are always on the lookout for talented people that want to apply state-of-the-art techniques to applications that are seen by millions of people! Please feel free to send me your favorite papers about the technologies powering the latest advances in mixed reality and autonomous vehicles.
